Men
It's easy for men to stay isolated and not cultivate the camaraderies that is central to the life of discipleship. But the truth is, when men lead as genuine brothers, transformation and life follows - for ourselves, our family & our city.
Men's Discipleship
Our fall bible study starts September 15 at 7:00p at the Downtown Church office. We will be studying Timothy Keller's, Gospel in Life, an intensive eight session course on the gospel and how it is lived out in all of life- first in your heart, then in your community, and then out into the world. It is an great study, you don't want to miss it. The evening starts with a group bible study, then a ten minute DVD presentation by TImothy Keller followed by group discussion questions. Each week there is a session for you to complete at home for the next study. Contact: Kyle Sprecher.
Men's Prayer
"The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working" (James 5:16b) Charles Spurgeon once described prayer as "the tender nerve that moves the muscle of omnipotence". The Downtown Church men gather to pray every Thursday morning from 7:00a -8:00a.
