Welcome Team
Welcome people to The Downtown Church by greeting visitors at the door, preparing coffee and pastry/fruit trays Sunday mornings, or helping answer questions at the info & welcome tables.
Requirements:
Greet: Ability to smile, open doors, and say hello. Sunday mornings from 9:30 - 10:00am and for 15 minutes after service.
Hospitality: Ability to make coffee, cut pastries, wash fruit and attractively arrange food on a serving platter. Sunday mornings from 8:00 - 9:15am prep time and after service clean up.
Info: Ability to answer questions about the church, and welcome guests to church. Sunday mornings from 9:00am - 10:00am and for 15 minutes after service.
Mobile Church Team
Transform the Boys Club facility into our worship center, nursery, and children's church.
Requirements: Ability to lift storage bins, operate a hand truck, clean tables and flex with changing set up arrangements.
Time Commitment: Sundays: 7:30am arrival time. Breaking down the facility and loading trailers is expected for one hour after service. Great place for elementary age kids to serve with a parent or teens to serve on their own.
Tech Team
Make church happen by setting up audio & video equipment, assisting band members, and/or running song slides and videos during service. Training provided.
Requirements: Ability to plug in cables, hook up equipment and click a mouse.
Time Commitment: Sundays, 7:30am arrival time. Breaking down audio/video equipment after service is expected.
Nursery Team
The Downtown Church has plenty of babies and toddlers to love each week while their parents attend church together.
Requirements: Ability to hold, feed and play with babies and toddlers. Ability to clean and pack nursery equipment after service. We do require all caregivers to fill out a ministry application and agree to background check in order to serve with our children. Teens actively involved with D-Groups are welcome to apply.
Time Commitment: Sundays from 9:30 -11:30am or until equipment is completely tucked away after service.
One Way Check-In Team
Welcome children to One Way each Sunday by serving at the check in table.
Requirements: Ability to greet children and their parents with a smile, scan bar codes and give out information about One Way. This is an excellent place for elementary children to serve with a parent.
Time Commitment: Sundays from 9:30 - 10:00am.
