Who are we? Check out the five stories that define The Downtown Church. They unwrap what matters most to us. Jesus used these narratives and others to communicate truth, to engage the head, and the heart. Jesus, of course, taught far more than these five stories. But they provide the storyline for our church.

  1. The Vine: Calling us to be a people who Abide in the Vine daily, to know God deeply through Jesus. John 15:1-11.

  2. The Good Samaritan: Calling us to be Selfless people toward one another and a city in need. Luke 10:25-37

  3. The Rich Fool: Calling us to be a Generous people toward God with our time, talent, and treasure. Luke 12:16-21.

  4. The Talents: Calling us to be a people who walk in Courage, not fear. Matthew 25:14-30.

  5. The Pearl: Calling us to be a people who Tell others about Jesus ... the pearl of greatest value. Matthew 13:45-46.
